Core Technologies
- The expansion device is equipped with two sets of airbag assemblies. Each airbag is evenly distributed with several pressure blocks around its circumference. Through uniform pressure of the blocks, the airbags are evenly distributed on the inner walls of the two sides of the pipe, ensuring assembly quality.
- After the airbags on both sides expand, a sealed space is formed inside the pipe. Inert gas is introduced through the exhaust port at the central position, which can quickly and effectively form inert-gas protection and ensure inert-gas coverage at the welding position.
◆ Quality & Efficiency
- The airbags are made of high-temperature- and abrasion-resistant rubber, providing a long service life;
- The argon content monitoring device uses a chemical sensor, ensuring that the ppm value drops to the specified range within 2 minutes, and continuously monitors the argon concentration at the welding area in real time during welding.
◆ Convenient & Fast
- The equipment is equipped with an intelligent control box for near-end operation. A long-rod expansion mechanism and remote control handle are provided at the front center of the equipment, enabling manual operation.
- For welding of pipes containing back beads, the argon-filling nozzle of the expansion device can quickly establish a sealed inert-gas protection cavity while the two sides expand, making operation convenient.
◆ Flexible & Adjustable
- Depending on the pipe diameter, the minimum distance between the front and rear rows of pressure blocks can reach 35 mm, and the minimum height of argon filling at the front and rear can reach 170 mm, suitable for single-layer pipes with small bevels and multi-layer welding.
- The expansion diameter of the airbag can be adjusted via air pressure according to pipe wall thickness, with a wide adjustment range;
- By adjusting the sliding support on the expansion device for the diameter of the pipe and the number of expansion blocks, the equipment can adapt to different pipe wall thicknesses;
- Suitable for different environments: operating temperature −30 °C to 80 °C, air humidity up to 95%. Protection rating reaches IP65, suitable for outdoor construction.
